Zero-Config JSON & CSV Data Visualization

Go from raw datasets to insightful charts in seconds. No code, no databases, and no setup required. Slicelytics Visualize instantly transforms your JSON, NDJSON/JSONL, CSV, or TOON data into interactive, customizable plots directly in your browser without sacrificing data privacy.

Instant Charts directly from JSON and CSV

Stop writing tedious Python scripts or wrestling with complex BI tools for basic data visualization. Slicelytics automatically parses your JSON or CSV files, detects visualizable numeric and date properties, and provides an intuitive suite of tools to chart them instantly. Just drag-and-drop your dataset and start exploring your metrics immediately. It really is that simple.

The Right Chart Type for Your Data

Whether you need to visualize time-series performance, categorical distributions, or proportional data, choose from a variety of common chart types to best represent your dataset. Slicelytics comes bundled with high-performance Bar, Line, Pie, Donut (Doughnut), Scatter, Bubble, Radar, and Polar Area charts out of the box. Easily map your JSON keys or CSV columns to the X axis effortlessly by clicking the axis and selecting your desired key.

Every click shows straight away, even on large datasets: pick a property, a chart type, or a metric, and the chart redraws a moment later, dimmed while it updates.

Automatic Built-in Statistical Analysis

Don't just visualize your data, understand it. Slicelytics features built-in, real-time calculations for essential statistical metrics. With a single click, automatically compute the sum, mean, median, mode, standard deviation, variance, range, minimum, and maximum across your dataset's properties. Get deeper mathematical insights without relying on external spreadsheets or leaving your browser.

  • Density: count how many items share each distinct value of any property, drawn as one bar per value.
  • Size: chart the length of strings and arrays.

Chart Dates and Timestamps

Slicelytics recognises ISO 8601 dates and date-times (e.g., 2026-10-02 or 2026-10-02T15:04:39Z) and can chart them. Use a date property as the x-axis to plot a metric over time, or compute the minimum, maximum, range, and density of date arrays to see when things happened and how often.

Export and Securely Share Insights

Easily export your charts as high-quality PNGs to include in your internal reports, pitch decks, or presentations. Need to share an interactive view? Click Share to copy a link that opens the same chart: the properties shown, the x-axis, and the chart type and metric for each property. The data is compressed into the part of the link after #, which browsers never send to a server, so your sensitive data is never stored on our servers and remains completely private.

Charts from Your AI Agent

Working with an AI coding agent such as Claude Code? Ask it to "plot p95 latency per day from runs.csv in Slicelytics". Following slicelytics.com/llms.txt, the agent builds a link that opens Visualize with your file, unchanged, and the chart already set up: the properties to plot, the x-axis, the chart type, and the metric. From there you can change the chart, add filters, or export it as a PNG.

How to Visualize a JSON or CSV File

  1. Drop your file: drag a JSON, NDJSON/JSONL, CSV, or TOON file onto the Visualize view.
  2. Pick properties: choose the numeric or date properties to chart.
  3. Set the x-axis: click the axis and select the key that labels each point, such as a date.
  4. Choose a chart and metric: switch the chart type or compute a metric for each property, then export a PNG or share a link.
